WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (AP) — Boris Said touched off a wild crash that ended the Sprint Cup road race at Watkins Glen International. He was looking to wreak some more havoc off the track afterward.

Greg Biffle, who finished 31st, confronted Said in the pits afterward and gave him a couple of quick hits while Said was still in his car.

“He wouldn’t even let me get out of the car. He comes over and throws a few little baby punches and then when I get out, he runs away and hides behind some big guys,” Said said. “He is the most unprofessional little scaredy-cat I’ve ever seen in my life. He wouldn’t even fight me like a man after. He needs a whooping, and I’m going to give it to him. He won’t hide from me long. I’ll find him.

“I won’t settle it on the track … but he’ll show up at a race with a black eye one of these days.”

Biffle finished a lap down and well behind Said. Said relayed a message to Biffle’s spotter that he wanted to meet Biffle after the race.

“I think Biffle has had a problem with Boris from a previous race, so leading into this race they already had some aggression toward each other,” said Nick Harrison, crew chief for Said’s No. 51 Chevy. “Early in the race, Biffle had run out of gas and was multiple laps down and was racing Boris.”

The rain-delayed race won by Marcos Ambrose ended with a violent crash entering the second turn. Said appeared to touch the back of David Ragan’s No. 6 Ford, and Ragan slammed David Reutimann’s 00 Toyota, which then caromed off one guardrail, flipped, and slid back across the track upside down while Ragan slammed head-on into the barrier.

Biffle used his Twitter page to respond to Said’s remarks.

“Boris,’the roadcourse ringer’ caused that wreck,” he posted on his page, later adding. “Then Mr. Class pulls in behind my truck after the race today?! Shouldn’t you go check on David David? How unprofessional disrespectful!”

Ragan said the accident was typical considering the mad dash that develops in the closing laps of most races.

“It’s just a product of close-quarters racing at the end,” said Ragan, who had rallied nicely after running out of fuel early in the race and was ready to move on. “I felt like I had Boris clear, and I think he got a little better run than we did and just hooked us. He certainly could have given a little more of a break and we all could have gotten through there. But he was aggressive. We were all aggressive.”

LONG POND, Pa (AP) — Kevin Harvick needed overtime to take the checkered flag.

Harvick stretched his fuel over extra laps and an extra day, breaking free on the green-white checkered finish to win the Trucks Series race on Sunday at Pocono Raceway.

Rain halted the event after 17 laps Saturday, so the race was squeezed in Sunday morning before the start of the Sprint Cup race. Joey Logano is on the pole for that one.

Harvick started from the pole and his only concern was stretching his fuel two extra laps on the scheduled 50-lap race. He conserved fuel and did what he needed to do in his first Trucks victory of the season.

“You just hope it didn’t screw itself up overnight,” Harvick said.

Harvick led 44 laps and was one of only two leaders in the second Trucks race on the 2½-mile triangle track. It was his 10th career win in the series and third top-10 finish of the season.

“We figured out a way to screw up pretty much every week,” he said. “The truck has been fast every week. You’ve got to keep doing the things you’ve been doing.”

He held off Kyle Busch and James Buescher on the final restart to win by a comfortable margin. Busch was second and Buescher third. Johnny Sauter and Austin Dillon round out the top five.

Sauter, the points leader, failed the post-race inspection. The right rear was too high and penalties were expected this week.

Busch and Harvick had to quickly scoot off to get ready for the Cup race. They had 500 grueling miles scheduled for later in the day. The rain messed with the weekend schedule, also bumping the ARCA race to Sunday for a racing tripleheader.

Todd Bodine was spun with two laps left to bring out the final caution. Harvick’s crew chief, Bruce Cook, voiced his concerns that there may not have been enough fuel in the No. 2 Chevrolet.

The caution helped conserve what was in the tank, and Harvick was on his way toward celebrating in Victory Lane.

Buescher, a Trucks regular, knew he couldn’t catch the Cup star on the overtime laps.

“I didn’t have anything for Kevin. He was in a league of his own,” Buescher said. “I didn’t have anything remotely close for him. We knew Kyle was coming fast. Maybe if it went green and not have that green-white checkered, we might have finished second. You hate losing to him, but you hate losing to anybody.”

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (AP) — Jimmie Johnson is about as mild-mannered as a racer can be, but he wasn’t about to take any lip from Kurt Busch.

The two drivers had a confrontation at last week’s NASCAR Cup at Pocono after slamming into each other on the final lap. Johnson accused Busch of trying to run him down, while Busch contended Johnson made the first move. Busch finished third, one spot ahead of Johnson.

Johnson said at a news conference at Watkins Glen International on Friday that he was angered by Busch’s remarks after their argument in the pits.

“When he got out of the car, we’re talking, and the crowd started to build and his bravery started to build,” Johnson said. “I walk away and he keeps talking. That’s the part that frustrates me. That’s when you saw me engage like that. If you’re going to say something, say it to a man’s face.

“I don’t know about you, but that really makes me mad. He just started running his mouth.”

Johnson said there were two parts to the altercation — what happened on the track and then on pit road.

“We come off turn one and Kurt gets to me side drafting,” Johnson said. “I tried to break the side draft, and from there he felt it was necessary to run into the side of my car and tear my car up. I was mad at that point. I never touched him.”

It wasn’t the first dustup between the five-time Cup champion and Busch.

Ever since Busch chanted “anyone but the 48″ after Johnson drove his Hendrick Motorsports Chevy past Busch to win at Bristol last season, the two have had issues.

When Busch bumped Johnson out of the way to take the lead in the closing laps at New Hampshire in June a year ago, Johnson caught Busch, put a little bump on his Penske Racing Dodge and slipped his No. 48 underneath with two laps to go and won.

“I don’t want people to think, ‘Oh, I can knock the 48 out of the way because he’s not going to wreck me,’” Johnson said after the race.

Then at Pocono it got worse when Johnson caused a stunning late-race crash that collected Elliott Sadler, Clint Bowyer and Busch. Replays showed the 48 appearing to hit Busch from behind. Busch’s car swerved in front of Bowyer’s Chevy before slipping sideways into the infield grass and smashing into the infield barrier.

Busch walked away, the race was halted for 20-plus minutes while workers cleaned up extensive debris and welded the barrier back together. After getting checked out by medics, Busch
