Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., has received verifiable information from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) about some vehicles whose owners have reported unintended acceleration after receiving the accelerator pedal recall remedies. As soon as Toyota received the vehicle owner information from NHTSA, it moved quickly to evaluate the vehicles and interview the owners.
Although most of these reports have yet to be verified, Toyota has been and remains committed to investigating all reported incidents of sudden acceleration in its vehicles quickly. Toyota wants to hear directly from its customers about any problems they are experiencing with their vehicles.
The results of the evaluations have been submitted to NHTSA for review. Though these reports involve a tiny fraction of the more than one million vehicles dealers have repaired to date, Toyota takes them extremely seriously.

Those who attend the 2010 Shelby American Sprint Cup NASCAR race will see the 2011 Shelby GT350, built by Shelby American, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc., make history as it paces the Las Vegas NASCAR race on February 28. It will be the first opportunity for the public to see the supercharged supercar at speed and the first time for a Shelby GT350 to pace a NASCAR event when the car circles the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Shelby American race.
The Shelby team unveiled a supercharged concept version of the Mustang-based 2011 Shelby GT350 to the surprise of thousands gathered at the Barrett-Jackson Auction Opening Night Gala to honor the 45th anniversary of the first GT350 and first Shelby big block Cobra. It was an immediate hit with the muscle car crowd.

Buick has officially announced the pricing for its 2011 Regal which start at $26,995 for its CXL model. The CXL Turbo will start at $29,495. Among the features of the 2011 Regal include a 2.4 Ecotec direct inject engine backed with a 6 speed transmission.
The 2011 Regal is expected to consume 30 MPG for highway driving. It also comes with a MacPherson strut from suspension and four-wheel disc brakes. Regal production for sale in the U.S. and Canada begins late Q1 2010.

The Chrysler brand earned a top industry recognition at this year’s 14th Annual Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards. The 2010 Chrysler Town & Country was named “Automotive Loyalty Award—Minivan” for the ninth year in a row.
The awards recognize manufacturers for superior owner loyalty performance and are determined when a household that owns a new vehicle returns to market and purchases or leases another new vehicle of the same model or make.

The Aqua-Out works by removing water from cassette-style auto lifts, caused by accumulated moisture that occurs every time the lift is raised. Sixt rent a car has been named Car Rental Partner of the Year by Manchester Airport. The accolade was presented to the company as part of the airport’s first Retailer of the Year awards.
The awards reflect consumer opinion on services at Manchester Airport. Exit interviews were undertaken to determine visitors’ views on the full range of facilities available at the airport including retail outlets, check in desks and car rental, with Sixt beating Avis and Europcar, which were also shortlisted.
The car hire award was judged on breadth of vehicle choice and availability, quality of service, location and ease of access, and overall value for customers. The award recognised Sixt’s innovation, vehicle choice and value-for-money at the company’s Manchester Airport branch, where it operates outlets at all three terminals with an additional express service, providing customers with a handy, on-line check-in tool.

If you want to impress people you need to be over the top sometimes. You should have something that will make people stop, give a second and a third look before going away and either tweeting it to their friends or putting up a picture in Facebook. Ok, this seems to be going way over the top–a fishtank and a smoke machine? I would understand using a smoke machine for grand entrances, but a fishtank would just be too much. About the fireplace: I hope it’s all artificial or we’ll be hearing from the Fire Department soon.
The owner of the limo, Mark Bauer is especially pleased with how people are reacting to the limo.
Mark says that during the prom season he sells out of these limos way before his competition does. “Kids these days want the latest and greatest” says Mark. Clients want to show off at their prom in something that Wows the crowd. And these jet door limos definitely due the job. That is how you make an entry.”
